EFFECT OF WOMEN EMPOWERMENT The project looks at women empowerment and sustainable development, through the means of active involvement in a community. This study is aimed at exploring the lack of women’s active contribution in the community and active participation in an event that is geared to contribute to the socioeconomic life of their community. The project explores the placement/location of women in Ghuata community. During the Ghauta Day Festival of Kagoma people in Kaduna State, Nigeria, the men are the ones who perform active and sensitive roles, the women who make up the full community are more or less inactive, and this in a way affects the development, growth and increase of the community.
